Personal Reflective Journal
This period attending C.A.L.L. was one of the most rewarding of all the subjects
I have been dealing with the second part of the year. I have learned a lot, due to the fact I knew almost nothing about the huge amount of information there is on the web. Of course, there were tasks which I found more familiar with, and some others which were more difficult.
Something that is true is the fact that technology has not been one of my strongest points as regards learning. Certainly, the only way of learning this kind of subject is, as the teacher says, "trial and error". What I have seen throughout this period showed me that everything I could imagine through online existence was only the ten percent of all.
Dealing with this issue, in a way, was hard for me, apart from the time that it implied, it was also necessary a good guide in order to help us manage with this new resource. Up to now, I was not able to do every activity I have learned in class, most of the reasons were the lack of time as regards preparation and practice. However, I am quite sure I will be able to put all of these into practice as soon as possible.
As regards the way of learning, it seems that I used to pay great attention to teachers´ explanations beforehand, and nowadays I get used to do it more by myself. At least, I am trying to do it. It was a challenge because everyone has a kind of structure to follow and from a moment to another, it changes. I reckon that this period has been full of surprises, either good or bad ones. It was not a "sacrifice" getting up early on the days we started at seven in the morning for instance! But sometimes when things did not work out the way we wanted either because of the connection or lack of knowledge, the frustration was one of the most common feelings in general.
To conclude, every step in this subject had the teacher´s support and tried to encourage us to go on trying and doing the activities at least in a most efficient way possible. There was also help any time and anywhere by only a click! My experience was enjoyable most of the time and worthy as well. Besides, I would like to reflect about the nice personality the teacher and my partners had throughout this period, it was paramount help to keep on doing our best!

Ernest Miller Hemingway (July 21, 1899 – July 2,
1961) was an American author and journalist. His economical and understated style had a strong influence on 20th-century
fiction, while
his life of adventure and his public image influenced later generations.
Hemingway produced most of his work between the mid-1920s and the mid-1950s,
and won the Nobel
Prize in Literature in 1954. He published seven novels, six short story collections, and
two non-fiction works. Three novels, four collections of short stories, and
three non-fiction works were published posthumously. Many of these are
considered classics of American
literature.
In a way, apart from
making students practice their knowledge about past simple and coordinators,
the teacher will encourage them to learn about personal information of one of
the most famous American writers. Perhaps, later on, she will give them a book
to read written by him.

TWITTER USES
How useful isTwitter in ESL lesson?
* It helps to channel while watching videos or presentations
* It provides a virtually usage of attending conferences, workshops, lecture and also workshops!
* It is used to share online resources through websites.
MATERIALS (RESOURCES)
Well, the topic I´ve chosen is connected to the resources we should bear in mind while delivering, or better yet, planning our class...
We, as teachers to be, have to try to encourage students to have another view of the lesson they are going to study or learn!
Thinking of those resources I´ve created this blog and posts will be posted later on... Let´s see how it works!
